We are not the same. This is not a “both sides” issue. Calling someone “low IQ” is not the same as calling them “fascist”. Lighting candles is not the same as torching cars. Mocking is not the same as dehumanizing. We are not the same.
If you cannot understand this, if you are frustrated with the indifference in our response to your hollow words of sympathy, know this: we now burn with a righteous anger. Your dehumanization of half the populace, 70 MILLION PEOPLE, cannot be tolerated. Your ideas, your lies, your disregard for the sanctity of life cannot be tolerated. An innocent man has been slaughtered in front of friends and family, his death celebrated, heinous lies spread with vile exuberance. We have reached that moment in history when righteous anger is commanded of us.
Words are not violence, but if you thought your ideas were treated savagely before now, you have no idea what you have unleashed. The idiocy will be called out, mocked, and shamed. We will dismember your lies and beliefs and then leave the carcasses to rot. Discourse will be our method of engagement, truth our blood-stained sword. To those who fomented anger, broadcast lies, dehumanized, and harbored the enemies of civilization, we will shine the light on your complicity and reveal to the world the snot-nosed little children you are. Leftist ideals will receive no sanctuary. No, words are not violence, but they are powerful, and we shall wield them with an unrelenting ferocity you have never before witnessed.
Make no mistake, we are at war (Ephesians 6:10-17; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We have been at war since the dawn of civilization, and so should not be surprised when barbarians break through the gates. Sadly, the most powerful testimonies in the history of man are that of Christians who sang praises to God as they were set ablaze. Not everyone has the courage to become a martyr. I question my own courage. But it is time to find out…to discover the courage within. Unity cannot be had with warmongers who dehumanize us, who see us as prey. Blood is on their hands. They must repent and then reconcile with us. We must rid these leftist ideas from within our borders. Jesus gives stark warning to a church that is lukewarm. Let us not fall victim to the devil of apathy. We must wage war, but let this be our battle cry:
CHOOSE DISCOURSE
NOT BULLETS
REJECT RADICALISM
CHOOSE CIVILIZATION
We are not the same. A beautiful life has been taken from us. A husband, a father, a role model for the masses has been ripped from our lives. While the hole in our hearts will eventually heal, the scarring is permanent. We are not the same.
